The Perfect Gift

Some gifts are better given without having to say anything at all. There may not be any words to give to someone who has lost their baby. Or, maybe there has been a complicated pregnancy.

Every pregnancy is different. For many, miscarriages happen too suddenly. It's tragic and it happens more than you think. This bible passage is perfect for that hurting family,

"Lo, children are a heritage of Jehovah; And the fruit of the womb is his reward." (ASV)

In 2020, my coworker had a friend that had a healthy pregnancy. They were packed and ready to go home from the hospital when, last minute, the doctors found complications with their baby. Tragically, their precious, baby girl didn't make it. 

About the Art

This paper cut art is based from an original piece done in 2018. In 2018, my cousin had a healthy pregnancy and was close to her delivery date. Unfortunately, doctors couldn't explain it completely, but her baby couldn't breath on his own. It was devastating to the whole family.

Made with love and care, this piece was sketched and cut, by hand, with an x-acto blade. It looks beautiful in a floating frame and hung on an accent wall where you can see and, be reminded of God's love.

  I officially opened my Etsy shop this year!!!  On July, 21st I re-opened my shop after 11 years...  I didn't know what my niche was in 2009 and I had always been artsy.
